Joycelyn Erho Calande's work reflects a lifelong fascination with pattern and texture and the effects pure light has on our natural surroundings. Inspired by nature, the work is often an appeal to the viewer to look beyond the obvious and to seek the inner beauty of the world around us.

Joycelyn is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she majored in Fine Art and Scientific Illustration. Graduate studies included printmaking , painting & education, at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and The University of Hartford.
